اَلْوَاجِد
al-Wājid
He who Finds
He who lacks nothing.
The tongue
From w-j-d; wajd is to find — including in the existential sense, wujūd being being. The wājid is also the one who lacks nothing: He has all within Himself.
The reason
He never seeks — He has all. No resource fails Him, no means is wanting to Him.
The Sufi meaning
Among the Sufis, wajd also denotes ecstasy — the inner finding. The servant finds God: not as an object, but as a sudden self-evidence.
The servant's portion
Be, in that poverty, rich: lack not the essential, and the essential is already within you.
