The Majestic
Of a majesty that inspires awe.
The tongue
From j-l-l; jalāl (جَلَال) is the greatness that overawes, that makes one draw back. A faʿīl (فَعِيل) form: He is essentially majestic.
The reason
His majesty inspires an awe-struck stillness (hayba (الهَيْبَة)) that is not fear, but a reverence that effaces in us the idle chatter.
The Sufi meaning
Before al-Jalīl, the heart ceases to argue, to propose, to calculate. It simply stands there.

Learn to stand in silence before what exceeds you. Do not profane with words what deserves recollectedness.
