No act, no thought unfolds without His attentive presence.
The Sufi meaning
To live in the sense of ar-Raqīb is murāqaba — inner vigilance: making of each act an act done before Him, hence in full presence.
The servant's portion
Watch over yourself as you would watch over a child: not to punish, but so as not to lose sight of it.
