Data of the journal

What is stored

• Your key: first name, seed-word, language, creation date
• Your noted days: chosen intentions, evening answers (yes / partly / no), free notes you write yourself, gratitudes
• Your requests (key, reminder): first name, contact, message
• Your suggestions: the message, and — if you chose so — your first name

Everything is stored in Firebase / Firestore, a Google service, hosted in Europe (Belgium).

Who can read what

The person who keeps the journal (Brahms) has an administrative tool — the "cockpit" — that lets him see:

• Active keys, their connection dates, their first names
• Pending requests and their messages
• The suggestions you send
• An anonymous collective rhythm: how many people chose this or that intention, without ever who

The cockpit never displays individual free notes, gratitudes, or the detailed answers of a single person.

Honestly: technically, by directly accessing the database, Brahms could read your personal pages. He commits morally not to — it is a promise, not a technical impossibility. If you want absolute secrecy, only write what you would accept a benevolent keeper could in theory read.

What never goes out

• No data is sold, shared or transferred to a third party
• No advertising, ever
• No behavioural tracking beyond the anonymous numbers of the collective rhythm

If you want to leave

Write to lavoiedudedans@icloud.com. Brahms will delete your journal, your requests, and any named trace within a few days. No justification required.

Retention

For handled requests (accepted or refused), Brahms archives them and deletes them after 12 months.

For active journals, everything is kept as long as the key is active. If a key stays silent for more than 24 months, Brahms writes to you before archiving — and only with your agreement.
